  3. Changing the bulb:
  4.  
  5. The bulb is under the round cover on the 
  6. side of the instrument.  To remove the bulb 
  7. rotate the cover until the two dots on it are 
  8. horizontal and lift the cover off.  The blub is 
  9. held in place by two small knurled screws.  
  10. Loosen the screws and remove the bulb 
  11. and its holder.  Put a new bulb in place 
  12. being careful not to touch the glass with 
  13. your bare fingers.  Replace the bulb and 
  14. cover.
